Welcome to Insight Actors Studio (IAS) – an independent private school originating in Wilmington, NC in 2011 (our name was Insight School of Acting there). In order to better serve the acting hub of the southeast, we relocated to the picturesque Virginia Highland neighborhood in the heart of Atlanta, GA in 2015. IAS is designed to prepare actors for skilled, professional, relational service in the arts and entertainment industries. We believe that creative people need a place to develop technical and artistic skills while growing in character and being empowered in their gifts. Insight Actors Studio fills the gap in education where vocational colleges, universities, and the school of experience cross but don’t meet. IAS offers a program that is both academically and artistically challenging while emphasizing practical industry application.

IAS is dedicated to bringing quality and affordable acting and “business-of-the-biz” training to students in the southeast region of the U.S. The theatrical, film and television industry is thriving in the southeast and the need for a professional training ground and place to keep the actor’s craft fine-tuned is great.
